For this reason, he stressed that climate resilience must be treated as a strategic policy of security and competitiveness, beyond environmental response.
The Department of Environment, Infrastructure and Territory is working on several lines of action, such as the optimization of the meteorological network for early risk detection and the processing of the future Valencian forestry law. Likewise, participation in the European program desirMED, aimed at the restoration of degraded ecosystems, has been highlighted.

In the field of infrastructure, the Consell has demanded that the Government of Spain urgently execute the pending state hydraulic works. At the same time, information has been provided on the project to create a network of floodable parks in the Turia and Poyo basins, a technical model that will be extended to the Monnegre green corridor in the province of Alicante.
