This initiative, published in the tender with the commercialization terms, will allow companies to access a total of 21 plots of available industrial land through purchase-sale and surface rights modalities. The department's management has highlighted that this action is part of the Generalitat's strategy to provide companies with quality, competitive, modern, and well-connected industrial spaces.

"The availability of industrial land is key to attracting investments, generating employment, and consolidating business projects in our territory. From the Consell, we are working to make the Valencian Community an attractive destination for new companies and for those already operating here to grow and expand their activity with all guarantees."

The new offer in Jijona joins the one recently promoted in Alcalà de Xivert, where more than 108,000 square meters of industrial land have been put on the market, thus reinforcing the Consell's commitment to expanding the area of business spaces in the different provinces of the Valencian Community. The management has also emphasized that having modern and prepared industrial infrastructures is fundamental to boosting economic activity and strengthening the competitiveness of our regions.
The L’Espartal III business park in Jijona is located in an environment with a solid industrial and agri-food tradition, especially linked to the nougat and sweets sector, one of Jijona's economic drivers. It offers significant competitive advantages thanks to the experience and specialization of the industries already established in the area, fostering synergies and collaboration opportunities for new companies. It houses the headquarters of the Regulatory Council of the Protected Geographical Indications Jijona and Turrón de Alicante, an element that reinforces the municipality's position as a benchmark of quality and excellence within the agri-food sector.
Applications submitted for the acquisition of industrial land in L’Espartal III will be evaluated in competitive bidding, and the award will be made through the tender published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV). Among the evaluation criteria, the number of new jobs, job retention, the integration of workers with functional diversity or other legal social protection, as well as the creation of employment by social economy companies, fair trade, cooperatives, and social associations will be valued. It will also be taken into account whether the company needs to relocate from the town's population center, the investment in the industrial project and in R&D&i, and the provision of complementary services that benefit other companies installed in the business park.
The deadline for submitting applications begins on May 9, 2026, and will end on March 31, 2027, with a total of five periods. The first period runs until July 17, 2026. Interested parties can submit their application at the general registry of Ivace (Ciutat Administrativa 9 d'Octubre. Torre 2, Calle de la Democràcia, 77) or at the Jijona City Council, as well as in any of the places provided for in article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
