The nocturnal party of the Hogueras 2026 in Alicante concentrates in barracas, racós, and new leisure spaces, where locals and visitors find music, dinner, and atmosphere to extend the day until dawn. After the mascletà, the city becomes a map of celebrations spread across districts.
The City Council has organized verbenas every night starting at 10:00 PM in barracas and racós. These meeting points vary depending on the commission and the nightly program, but all share the goal of bringing the party to the streets and uniting people around music and nightlife.
There isn't a closed list of verbenas, as each commission organizes its own rhythm. The best strategy for experiencing Alicante at night during the Hogueras is to head to the neighborhood, ask at the commission, follow the music, and let yourself be carried by the pulse of the street.
As a novelty, the new leisure space in Teulada and Campo de Mirra joins the party nights, open from June 20th to 24th. It will offer music from 10:30 PM to 4:30 AM, an extensive schedule designed for dancing, dining, and enjoying an environment with a gastronomic area and constant activity.
While the Plaza de los Luceros sets the daytime rhythm with the mascletà contest, the night sees the focus shift to nearby racós and surrounding barracas. The party changes format but maintains its intensity.
In the neighborhoods, the night is experienced more intimately. Dining at a barraca, dancing, or extending conversations at the racó's entrance are essential parts of the foguerer experience, alongside visiting the monuments and awaiting the next day's mascletà.
The Hogueras 2026 are a day and night festival. Monuments, mascletàs, and official events fill the city during the day, and as the sun sets, Alicante transforms into a map of music, barracas, and racós where each district contributes its unique atmosphere.
To truly experience the Hogueras, one must go down to the neighborhood, find a barraca, enter a racó, follow the music, and let Alicante lead the way. The city has its own soundtrack these days, and it sounds best when heard in the street.
