The operation, named Achillea, began following a complaint filed in 2024. Agents searched the suspect's home, seizing over 200 storage devices, including mobile phones, computers, and hard drives with a total capacity of 18,000 gigabytes.
According to investigations, the perpetrator used grooming techniques to gain the victims' trust, aged between 8 and 16. The detainee posed as a minor to emotionally manipulate the victims and obtain sexual content, which he kept in a private collection.
The Court of Instance of Santa María de Guía has ordered the accused to be remanded in custody, communicated and without bail. Authorities emphasize the importance of supervising minors' online activity and avoiding the publication of personal data on public networks to prevent such crimes.
