A fire at a tile factory in the municipality of Agost has been brought under control by firefighters, with no personal injuries reported among workers or nearby residents.

The fire broke out shortly before 9:00 PM at the company's facilities, located next to the CV-820 road. Its proximity to this route necessitated a rapid response to prevent smoke and flames from affecting traffic and nearby areas.
Numerous units from the Provincial Fire Consortium of the Alicante Provincial Council were dispatched to the scene, with about twenty personnel from the San Vicente del Raspeig, Elche, and Elda stations. The coordinated arrival of these teams allowed them to tackle the fire from multiple fronts and contain its spread within the tile factory.
Firefighters have worked to stabilize the blaze and cool the most affected areas to prevent potential reignitions. Although the initial magnitude of the fire required a large deployment, the positive progress of the extinguishing efforts has reduced the risk and allowed them to focus on completely eliminating hot spots within the industrial warehouse.
As operations progressed, emergency services confirmed that no individuals were affected by smoke or flames, verifying the absence of injuries. Personnel are expected to remain in the area as long as necessary to ensure the factory is safe and to assess the material damage caused by the fire.
