The Alicante Concert Society has scheduled this performance, which will begin at 8:00 PM. Schuen, considered one of the most outstanding voices in current lyrical music, forms a consolidated duo with Heide, sharing a fruitful artistic partnership in the lyrical scene.
The baritone, raised in a trilingual environment (Ladin, Italian, and German), combines solid technical training with a special sensitivity for text. His musical journey began in the mountainous landscape of South Tyrol, in the Ladin village of La Val. Before dedicating himself to vocal singing, he trained as a cellist at the prestigious Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
André Schuen regularly performs on opera, concert, and recital stages worldwide, including theaters such as the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Vienna State Opera, and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. Lied remains one of his great passions, and this season he is touring with Daniel Heide through various European and United States cities.
Pianist Daniel Heide, originally from Weimar, is one of the most sought-after song accompanists of his generation. His extensive concert career has taken him across Europe, South Africa, South America, and Asia. He collaborates intensely with various singers and has recorded over 30 CDs, including Schwanengesang and Winterreise with André Schuen for Deutsche Grammophon.
