Pirotecnia Alto Palancia, from the province of Castellón, will be responsible for closing the mascletà calendar with this sixth and final firing, scheduled for 2:00 PM. Plaza de los Luceros will once again become the epicenter of gunpowder in a day marked by festive intensity and the proximity of the main day of San Juan.
On the night of San Juan, at midnight on June 24th, the grand gunpowder night will arrive with the Palmera, which will be fired from Monte Benacantil. Pirotecnia Pibierzo, from León, will debut in Alicante with this symbolic firing, consisting of 1,150 Imperial rockets of 20 millimeters and lasting 18 seconds.
After the Cremà (bonfire), the pyrotechnic calendar will continue with the fireworks competition, scheduled from June 25th to 29th at Playa del Postiguet. Each session, with a budget of 19,000 euros per firing, must last at least 15 minutes and will be composed mainly of aerial fireworks, with the possibility of incorporating aquatic fireworks.
