The city of Alicante experienced a festive day marked by tradition and togetherness during Easter Monday. Hundreds of people took advantage of the good weather to go outdoors and share one of the most emblematic sweets of this season: the 'mona de Pascua'.
This celebration, deeply rooted in Valencian culture, is characterized by family and friends gathering in parks, green areas, or beaches, where they enjoy the 'mona', often accompanied by chocolate and other typical products.
Images captured by photographer Rafa Arjones on April 6, 2026, showcase the festive atmosphere and public participation in this tradition that combines gastronomy, nature, and a strong sense of community.
