Foguerer artist Adrià Alcaraz, the only one from Alicante in the Special children's category, is preparing a colorful monument for the La Cerámica commission, which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary.

In Alicante, artists are already working on the monuments for the upcoming Hogueras del 2026. Among them is Adrià Alcaraz, the only local artist who will be creating a piece in the Special children's category. Color is the main protagonist of his project, which he describes as an 'explosion of colors'.
'For me, it's an honor to be able to create a piece in the top category and, moreover, for my own commission. It's super important,' Alcaraz stated during a visit to his workshop.
Alcaraz, who debuted last year in the Special children's category with the same commission, La Cerámica, achieved ninth place. This year, he is repeating with them, as they celebrate their 30th anniversary. 'So here I am, fighting for ours,' he affirms with determination.
The artist believes his project this year is his best, featuring a renewed style compared to the previous year. The monument's theme is 'Tuntún,' representing a color factory where the heart is the driving force of life and brings color to the festival.
