The event will take place from July 1st to 4th at the Teatre Arniches in Alicante, maintaining its commitment to highlight the role of women both in front of and behind the camera. The organization emphasizes that this new phase strengthens the festival's connection with the city and with national and international audiovisual talent.
The official image for this edition was created by Alicante designer Lourdes Martínez. The poster reinterprets the figure of Helena Cortesina through a pop-aesthetic collage that combines cinematic elements, the urban landscape of Alicante, light, and color.

The festival has also launched 'Behind Cortesina', its official podcast channel, available on Spotify. This new space aims to delve into the world of cinema from a female perspective, including interviews, conversations, and reflections on the audiovisual industry and creative processes.
The organization highlights that this initiative expands the festival's activities beyond screenings and reinforces its cultural vocation, opening new spaces for conversation about the role of women in the audiovisual sector. The V edition of the Cortesina Fest represents another step in the event's trajectory, establishing itself as an international short film festival with its own identity.
Mujeres por la Igualdad organizes the Cortesina Fest annually, with the support of public institutions such as the Diputación de Alicante, ImpulsAlicante, the Instituto Valenciano de Cultura, the Patronato Municipal de Turismo-Alicante Film Office, the Teatre Arniches, and the Universidad Miguel Hernández.
