The regions of El Rincón de Ademuz, Los Serranos, La Plana de Utiel-Requena, La Hoya de Buñol, La Vall de Ayora-Cofrents, La Canal de Navarrés, La Costera, and La Vall d’Albaida suffered strong intensity storms this afternoon. These phenomena were accompanied by hail and very strong wind gusts.
The storms are moving northwards and, around 6:00 PM, affected the area of Pedralba. On the coast, remnants of storm clouds from the interior were observed. These are short-lived storms, but they cause adverse phenomena in the areas they pass through.
Following this situation, the center reminds the public of the importance of not crossing flooded areas or ravines. It also recommends securing objects on balconies and terraces, avoiding unnecessary travel, and checking road conditions before traveling.
