Correos has launched a new Citypaq device in Pedralba, offering residents an automated parcel management system available every day of the week.

The new infrastructure is located at the Petronor-Repsol Service Station in the municipality and can be used from Monday to Sunday during the establishment's opening hours. With this addition, the postal company expands options for the more than 3,000 inhabitants of Pedralba, who can carry out their e-commerce transactions autonomously and quickly.
The Citypaq point consists of three modules with a total of 18 lockers of different sizes, adapting to various shipping formats. These smart lockers not only allow for online purchase collection but also peer-to-peer shipping and order returns, all with a secure and user-friendly access system.
Correos highlights that this type of terminal is consolidating as one of the fastest-growing formulas within parcel management linked to e-commerce. During 2025, the Citypaq network in the province of Valencia processed 247,700 parcels, representing a 10.6% increase compared to the previous year.
Currently, the province has 117 terminals of this type, of which 13 are located in private spaces, mainly workplaces, while the rest are publicly accessible. Among the advantages of the system, Correos emphasizes the ability to operate without needing to visit a post office, as well as the convenience of choosing an accessible and nearby collection point.
Furthermore, by concentrating numerous deliveries in a single location, delivery vehicle displacements are reduced, and consequently, so are polluting emissions. Users have a period of five days to collect their parcels from the moment they receive the deposit notification, although the average withdrawal time is usually less than 18 hours. If the shipment is not collected within this initial period, the parcel remains available for an additional 15 days at the corresponding post office.
