Domeño Celebrates Today the Main Day of its Festivities in Honor of Saint Catherine

The town in Los Serranos experiences an intense day with events combining tradition, devotion, and fun for all audiences.

Domeño celebrates today, May 2nd, the main day of its patron saint festivities in honor of Saint Catherine Virgin and Martyr, with a day full of events combining tradition, devotion, and fun for all audiences.

From early morning, the town in Los Serranos has woken up to salutes in honor of the patron saint, announcing a very special day. At 11:00 AM, the Music Band of the Santa Cecilia Artistic-Musical Society of Domeño will fill the streets with a parade, bringing music and joy to every corner of the town.
The youngest ones can enjoy the Children's Park from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a space designed for them to also experience the festivities to the fullest. At 12:00 PM, the Solemn Mass will be celebrated in honor of Saint Catherine Virgin and Martyr, an act full of emotion and tradition for the residents.
After the mass, at 1:00 PM, the Plaza will host a dance to enjoy the festive atmosphere and share good moments among neighbors and friends. The most anticipated moment of midday will arrive at 2:00 PM with the spectacular Mascletà, by Pirotecnia Valenciana and sponsored by the Domeño City Council, which will fill the town with its power and sound.
The afternoon will be marked by one of the most significant events of the festivities: the Procession in honor of the patron saint, which will begin at 8:00 PM and will transmit an atmosphere of respect and emotion through all the streets of the town. At 10:00 PM, the Sports Center will host the Popular Dinner, a perfect moment to share a meal and laughter.
The night will light up at 11:30 PM with the awaited Correfocs, also by Pirotecnia Valenciana, a spectacle of fire, music, and adrenaline. To close this great day, at 12:30 AM, the party will continue with the Vértigo Revolution Orchestra, followed by a Discomóvil by DJ Jova.
