A forest fire broke out in Forcall this Sunday, originating from an accident vehicle that caught fire and spread flames to the adjacent forest.

The fire has necessitated the deployment of a significant emergency response team working to prevent the fire's advance. The extinction efforts involve five fire crews from the Provincial Fire Consortium of Castellón, along with 10 units of forest firefighters from the Generalitat Valenciana, three of which are helicopter-transported.
The operation also includes nine aerial resources, comprising four helicopters and five planes, conducting water drops on the affected area to try and slow the flames' spread. The deployment is completed by a command unit, two forest coordinators, and a forest technician, who direct and coordinate the extinction tasks on the ground.
Personnel continue to work on controlling the fire, which originated from a vehicle that crashed last week in the Forcall ravine. Currently, no data has been released regarding the affected area or the circumstances that caused the vehicle to ignite.
