The Consorcio Terra, comprising 37 municipalities in El Comtat, l'Alcoià, and l'Alacantí, has launched an environmental activities program tailored for vulnerable groups, fostering integration and respect for the environment.

With the aim of ensuring environmental education reaches all citizens, Consorcio Terra has initiated a comprehensive program of activities and workshops adapted to diverse social realities. These initiatives seek to promote integration, autonomy, and respect for the environment in the regions where it operates.
In l'Alcoià, the associative network has played a significant role. In Ibi, users from the San Pascual Occupational Center participated in filigree workshops, created a waste mural, and visited the ecopark to learn about urban waste management. The Somriu Association addressed myths surrounding waste management, while individuals with functional diversity from the Babilón Association and ADIBI experimented with transforming waste into useful products, such as soap making. In Xixona, the local occupational center hosted activities to give a second life to old t-shirts and coffee capsules.
In l'Alacantí, collaboration with Cruz Roja (Red Cross) and Cáritas has been extensive. In San Vicente del Raspeig, Cruz Roja organized talks on waste separation for migrant populations, including a session with simultaneous translation for Ukrainian refugees. The group of women at risk of social exclusion from this same entity participated in workshops on used oil soap making, textile recycling, and awareness-raising on food waste, themed "Don't throw it away, reinvent it." Similar initiatives were replicated at the Huerto de Cáritas in San Vicente. Activities will soon extend to Sant Joan d’Alacant.
The Ravalet Social Center in Mutxamel has been another key hub, featuring a summer calendar that included activities on the Loggerhead Sea Turtle, an escape room, ecopark visits, and traditional games focused on recycling. Sessions on the "Eco-Oca" and workshops for making bags from t-shirts are planned. Additionally, in San Vicente del Raspeig, ADACEA provided adapted training on household waste separation for individuals with acquired brain injuries.
Finally, Consorcio Terra has linked sustainability with the workplace. In Alcoy, members of ASPROMIN attended an informative talk on urban waste management. To complete the technical and professional training cycle, sessions on the management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) were delivered at the employment workshops in San Vicente del Raspeig, Muro de Alcoy, and Cocentaina, equipping future professionals with the necessary regulatory and ecological tools for a society focused on the circular economy.
