Riba-roja de Túria Reaches Record Social Security Affiliations in February
The town registers 21,878 affiliations, 244 more than the previous month, and a 36.6% increase in labor contracts.

The town of Riba-roja de Túria has set a new record for Social Security affiliations in February, reaching 21,878, with an increase of 244 compared to the previous month and a 36.6% rise in labor contracts.
Data published by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration confirms the positive trend of recent years in Riba-roja de Túria. Year-on-year, there have been 589 more affiliations between February 2025 and February 2026, showing consistent growth.
The self-employed sector also reached a new high, with 1,874 self-employed workers in February, representing 56 more than in the same period of 2025 and 81 more than in 2024. The general regime, or employed workers, remains the majority, with 19,796 affiliations, approximately 90% of the total.
Over the last decade, the absolute increase in affiliations in Riba-roja de Túria has been 61%, rising from 13,552 in 2015 to 21,878 in 2026, a difference of 8,326 affiliations. This evolution has been constant, with 16,048 affiliations in 2018 and 18,539 registrations by the end of 2021.
Labor contracts in March reached 1,439, a 36.6% increase from February, when 1,053 contracts were formalized. Of these, 817 were permanent and 622 were temporary. This marks the third consecutive month that permanent contracts have surpassed temporary ones in the locality.
