The rhythmic gymnastics club Les Marines de Calp has earned two spots for the Spanish Championship and three medals in the regional phase held in Gandía.

Gymnasts from C.G. Les Marines de Calp competed last Sunday in the regional phase of the Spanish Team Championship in Gandía. Triana Ruano, Laia Martínez, Daniela Avellà, Sophie O’Reilly, and Katya Trukhacheva were vying for qualification to the national event. The Calp club successfully qualified two of its three teams and secured three regional medals.
In the junior category, Sophie O’Reilly performed hoop and ball routines with no significant errors. Thanks to her performance and that of her teammate Daniela Rodríguez from Club Chamara, they secured fourth place regionally, guaranteeing their participation in the Spanish Championship. Katya Trukhacheva, in the senior category, executed a spectacular hoop routine despite a late fall.
The children's team, featuring Daniela Avellà and Laia Martínez, finished fifth regionally, just 0.30 points shy of qualification, despite winning a silver medal in the ribbon apparatus.
Finally, Triana Ruano won the bronze medal in ball in the pre-junior category and qualified for the Spanish Championship in Castellón. With these results, C.G. Les Marines will be represented in all four major national competitions this season. The club expressed gratitude for the tireless work of the technical team led by Saray Pineda, as well as the daily efforts of the gymnasts and the constant support of their families.
