The Sagunt City Council has launched a series of informative meetings aimed at citizens, social entities, and unions to explain the details of the new extraordinary regularization of migrants, following the publication of Royal Decree 316/2026.

This initiative, promoted through the Department of Social Services and SAIC, seeks to clarify the requirements, necessary documentation, and channels enabled to process applications. The objective is to facilitate access to this process and resolve doubts among potential beneficiaries and the organizations that support them.
The sessions will take place next Tuesday, April 21, in two locations in the municipality. In Sagunt, they will be held at the headquarters of the Department of Agriculture, in the former Local Agrarian Council, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM and from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. In Port de Sagunt, the meetings will move to the Old Sanatorium Civic Center, with sessions scheduled from 12:00 to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.
Requirements for regularization include being in Spain before January 1, 2026, proving continuous residency for five months prior to the application, and having no criminal record. For international protection applicants, it will be sufficient to have submitted the application before that date and be able to justify it.
The deadline for submitting applications will be June 30, 2026. The process can be carried out both online, starting April 16, and in person from April 20, in both cases under different procedures and with mandatory prior appointment for in-person attention. Applications can be processed through Social Security, Post Offices, or Immigration offices, as well as digital channels such as the Cl@ve system or phone 060.

"We do not want anyone to be left behind due to lack of information or not knowing how to start the procedures."

Nuria Carbó · Councillor for Social Services

"With this measure, we will avoid part of the workload, but we will be very attentive to reinforce the service if necessary."
