The Camp de Morvedre Wrestling Club has concluded a successful participation in the Senior Spanish Championships of Olympic Wrestling, Beach Sambo, and Beach Wrestling, held in Sagunto, securing nine medals.

The Camp de Morvedre Wrestling Club achieved a notable performance at the Senior Spanish Championships of Olympic Wrestling, Beach Sambo, and Beach Wrestling, held on May 30th and 31st at the municipal sports hall of Port de Sagunt and the beach area of El Pantalán. The local club finished the competition with nine medals: one gold, four silvers, and four bronzes. Additionally, they secured a runner-up position, a third place, and a fourth place in the national team rankings.
Beyond the sporting results, the championship was also an organizational success for the club, which managed to gather nearly 400 athletes, surpassing the participation numbers of the last two editions. The organization was supported by the Sagunto City Council and Esport Sagunt, as well as the Morvedre Gymnastics Club, the historical reenactment group Saguntum Augusta, and the company Quattre Internet.
In the Olympic wrestling competition, Pau Gimeno was crowned the senior Spanish champion in the women's 55 kg category. The veteran Raúl Gallur Fernández earned a bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling (130 kg). Lucas Castán finished fifth in Greco-Roman (97 kg), and Alan Ferrera placed fourth in freestyle wrestling (+125 kg).
The beach disciplines contributed significantly to the club's medal count. Ainhoa Gimeno won two Spanish runner-up titles in beach wrestling and beach sambo (U17, 65 kg), while Mar Cortés secured two bronze medals in both disciplines. Pau Gimeno and Gor Zograbian took silver medals in beach sambo, and Sergei Zograbian won a bronze. Hugo Jurado Gil finished fifth in beach sambo.
These achievements are complemented by earlier successes. On May 23rd, Micaela Aránguiz became the U13 Spanish champion in Seville, and Pau Gimeno was the university runner-up in Granada on May 16th.
