The Generalitat Valenciana, through the Metropolitan Transport Authority of Valencia (ATMV), has launched a new bus line connecting Valencia and the Port de Sagunt with Parc Sagunt, an initiative that has drawn criticism for its limitations.

This service, which represents the first public transport link to an industrial park in the municipality, includes two morning trips from Valencia bus station and two evening returns. The line has stops in both the first phase of Parc Sagunt and the area of the battery cell gigafactory.
The third vice president and Minister of Environment, Infrastructure, and Territory, Vicente Martínez Mus, announced that the line will have four daily trips from Monday to Friday, with an annual cost of 57,000 euros. According to the Generalitat, the objective is to meet the mobility demand of PowerCo workers, with schedules adjusted after meetings with them.
Departures from Valencia are at 7:14 AM and 8:20 AM, arriving at Parc Sagunt at 7:47 AM and 8:53 AM, and ending on Mediterráneo Avenue in the Port at 8:15 AM and 9:21 AM. Returns from the Port are at 4:50 PM and 6:05 PM, passing through the industrial park at 5:04 PM and 6:19 PM, and arriving in Valencia at 5:57 PM and 7:12 PM.

"This service is a mess, very insufficient for a 10-year period."

Eduardo Márquez · Spokesperson for Iniciativa Porteña
Despite the Generalitat presenting it as a "significant advance," the new L-120 line has received criticism. Iniciativa Porteña, through its spokesperson Eduardo Márquez, calls it a "mess" and "very insufficient" for the demand that the expansion of Parc Sagunt will generate. Márquez also questions the ten-year concession to Autos Vallduxense (AVSA), considering it too long given the rapid demographic evolution of the Port.
The ATMV line is focused on Valencia residents working in Parc Sagunt. The connection between the urban centers of Sagunt and the industrial park is the responsibility of the city council, which has already approved an urban transport project for Parc Sagunt II. This municipal service, with 16 daily trips, is expected to start in early 2027.
From the city council, they consider the L-120 "positive," but insist on the need to also boost line 115, which connects Valencia with the capital of Camp de Morvedre. They call for the involvement of all administrations to find a definitive metropolitan mobility solution for the Port, where 45,000 people live disconnected from the Cercanías and Metro network.
Iniciativa Porteña also asks the Generalitat to consider alternatives such as the Metro, which is its responsibility, or to negotiate with the Ministry of Transport to bring the Cercanías train closer to the Port. They criticize the Consell for not seeking higher capacity solutions, especially when the construction of freight transport tracks near the PowerCo gigafactory could be leveraged for the Metro network.
