Héctor Fort, the full-back on loan from FC Barcelona, will return to the Elche CF squad for Wednesday's match against Atlético de Madrid, after receiving medical clearance and overcoming a long-term injury.

The young footballer, 19 years old, has been sidelined for four months due to an anterior dislocation in his left shoulder, sustained on December 21 in the match against Rayo Vallecano. The injury required surgery and has kept him off the pitch ever since.
His recovery has been supervised by the medical services of FC Barcelona in collaboration with those of Elche CF. After completing the rehabilitation phase, Fort has intensified his physical conditioning to return to competition.
Elche CF coach, Eder Sarabia, had already expressed his hope last week of being able to count on the player for the clash against Atlético de Madrid, and it will finally be so. His absence has significantly affected the team, which has gone from having an eight-point cushion above the relegation zone to being in danger.
Meanwhile, other players such as Marc Aguado, Grady Diangana, and Adam Boayar continue to recover from different muscle fiber tears in their thighs, and their participation in the upcoming match is not yet confirmed.
