Elche's Paseo de la Estación transforms into a cultural hub with the Book Fair, opening today at 6:00 PM and offering a wide program for all ages.

Throughout the morning, work has been underway to install the 15 tents that will house bookstores and associations, along with a central tent for workshops, presentations, and talks, and a children's area.

"This is a fair to enjoy, where everyone can get signed books from their favorite authors of any genre."

The Councillor for Commerce highlighted that the Book Fair should be a family event, featuring over 120 authors and more than 200 book signings throughout the weekend.
This edition sees the participation of 15 bookstores, such as Ali i Truc, CopiCarrús, and L'Extrem, and associations like Literaturelx and Letra Violeta. Additionally, the Municipal Libraries will have their own tent.
Among the invited authors, the event organizing company's manager mentioned prominent figures like Gerónimo Stilton and Jordi Sierra i Fabra for younger audiences, and writers such as Juan Tallón, Jorge Molist, or Miguel Gane. Authors who participated in previous editions will also return.
The fair will include literature in Valencian, poetry sessions, and children's activities, with a renewed layout of the venue to optimize the development of all scheduled activities. The closing ceremony will be on Sunday, April 19, at 2:00 PM.
