This initiative aims to provide a unique and distinct experience, blending culture and music with Elche's iconic Palm Grove. Irene Ruiz, the Councillor for Culture, emphasized the festival's singular vision.
“"It is a festival born with a very clear objective and a very different vocation from all the others, which is precisely to be singular, unique, and offer an absolutely distinct experience."
The musical lineup is expected to be a major draw, with Taburete performing on Friday, May 29th, and Siempre Así taking the stage on Saturday, May 30th, both popular groups in the national music scene.
Rosa Jiménez, the festival's marketing and communication manager, described the event as a “boutique festival” with a limited capacity of 1,500 people, designed for an intimate and carefully curated musical experience. Beyond the music, the festival offers a comprehensive experience, including a Trenet ride from the city center to the Miguel Hernández University, complete with live music and entertainment.
The program will also feature a gastronomic area highlighting local products from the Camp d'Elx. Festival ambassador Arantxa de Benito underscored the fusion of gastronomy, culture, landscape, and sensations that make this event truly special, highlighting the uniqueness of its setting.
Tickets are now available through the website festivaldelhuerto.es, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the Fundación Conciénciate.
