The infrastructure, designed to accommodate an approximate capacity of 8,000 people, will cover about 5,800 square meters. Its main stage will feature a large roof and be equipped with the latest generation audio technology, large LED screens (including a 14-meter main screen and two side screens to improve visibility), and a comprehensive lighting system.
As a visual novelty, the performances will be enhanced with special effects such as confetti machines, cold fire systems (sparkular), and CO2 jets, aiming to create a high-impact festive atmosphere.
Regarding the timeline, assembly work will begin at the end of July, and the technical inspection must be completed by midday on August 5th. Once the festivities conclude on the 14th, the awarded company will have two days for the complete dismantling of the infrastructure.
This year, an increase in expenditure is observed, as the budget for the 'barraca' assembly has risen compared to previous years: in 2025 it was tendered for 157,000 euros, a figure similar to 2024, and significantly higher than the 120,000 euros in 2023. This year's increase of 30,000 euros comes while awaiting details on the investment for other usual festive spaces such as the youth 'barraca' and the Hort de Baix.
