“"It has been a very special night, because all the festival commissions have been able to enjoy the parade and a dinner where we shared moments of joy. The girls have been able to live a dream, which is to represent Elche in the upcoming August festivities. From the Unió de Festers del Camp d’Elx we want to wish them all luck and, above all, that they enjoy it because they all deserve to be chosen."

Around a thousand people attended the presentation gala for the 62 candidates for queens and ladies of Elche's festivities, which included an evening parade and a gala dinner.
The catwalk, set up next to the Altamira Palace, was the stage where the candidates paraded in their evening gowns. After the event, the participants enjoyed a gala dinner at the Huerto del Cura hotel.
The event was attended by various municipal and festive authorities, including the mayor of Elche and the Councillor for Festivities. The Unió de Festers del Camp d’Elx was widely represented, with 24 candidates from the 13 commissions associated with UFECE, which groups 17 districts.
At the end of the dinner, all participants received a commemorative plaque with their name, personally presented by the mayor and members of the municipal government team. The candidates, jury members, and authorities traveled from Traspalacio to the Huerto del Cura hotel on urban buses.
This gala is a preliminary step to the election of the positions, scheduled for next June 6 at the Rotonda del Parque Municipal, and the proclamation, which will take place on the 27th of the same month in the Plaza de Baix. The jury for the senior candidates held a prior coexistence event in Murcia, while that for the junior candidates did so in Cartagena.
