The Consell has given the green light to the contracting of future concessions for public regular road passenger transport services connecting València with Benidorm and Torrevieja with Alicante.

This action, promoted by the Ministry of Environment and Infrastructures, aims to strengthen mobility along the coastal axis and improve connectivity with key hubs such as Alicante-Elche Airport and the High-Speed Rail (AVE) network.
The contract is divided into two lots and will have a duration of ten years without possibility of extension. The bidding and subsequent award process will now begin, which will allow for a complete renewal of fleets and schedules.
Lot 1 corresponds to the València-Benidorm (CV-301) corridor. This line will maintain interprovincial services between the capital of the Turia and the skyscraper city, with a special focus on municipalities of great tourist relevance in the regions of Marina and Safor. The integrated municipalities are València, Gandia, Bellreguard, Oliva, Dénia, Xàbia, Ondara, Benissa, Calp, Altea, and Benidorm.
Lot 2, the Torrevieja-Alicante (CV-214) connection, is fundamental for mobility in the south of the Valencian Community. It merges and improves traffic from the old concessions between Orihuela, Elche, and Alicante. The major novelty is the reinforcement of the connection of coastal urbanizations with Torrevieja Hospital, Alicante-Elche Airport, and the AVE station.
The municipalities integrated into this second lot are Alicante, San Vicente del Raspeig, Santa Pola, Elche, Crevillent, Guardamar del Segura, Torrevieja, Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela, Rojales, San Fulgencio, Catral, Dolores, Daya Nueva, Daya Vieja, Benijófar, and San Miguel de Salinas.
This renewal of the corridors responds to the Valencian Community Mobility Law. As highlighted by the Consell, the objective is to facilitate citizens' access to work, training, and basic services, promoting collective transport over private vehicles in areas of high summer and residential traffic density.
