A total of ten boats and over thirty fishermen participated in this event, marked by a great atmosphere and the high level of competitors. Unlike other events, the competition focused on catching large specimens, prioritizing the quality of the fish over quantity, which added a strategic and technical component to the competition.
After an intense day at sea, the boat PULSAR UNO took first place, winning gold thanks to the quality of its catches. Silver went to ADELMAR, which also received recognition for the largest fish of the competition, while third place, and thus bronze, went to CERO COMA, completing the podium for this edition.
“"The great participation and excellent development of the event, which took place in an atmosphere of camaraderie and sportsmanship, has been highlighted. Furthermore, the respect for the marine environment and good fishing practices, fundamental aspects in this type of competition, have been emphasized."
With initiatives like this 'Big Game' competition, the Real Club Náutico Torrevieja continues to promote quality sport fishing and strengthen its role as a meeting point for sea lovers and competition on the Alicante coast.
