Orihuela Local Police officers have carried out a daring rescue in Aguamarina, saving a five-month-old puppy that had fallen down an approximately eight-meter cliff.

The operation took place in an area of difficult access, where the officers managed to safely retrieve the animal and bring it to safety. The puppy was later handed over to its owners, who took it to a veterinary center for a check-up.
This is not the first animal rescue carried out by the Orihuela Local Police recently. A few days ago, in the La Florida area, officers rescued another dog, this time an elderly animal. The incident occurred after a resident alerted them upon spotting an extremely thin and motionless dog under the sun in a vacant lot.
The officers who responded to the scene provided not only the established protocol but also affection and care to save its life. They offered it water and food to regain its strength, while staying by its side, offering it comfort and affection. In addition to bringing it to safety, they managed to locate its owners.
