The new service, operated by Avanza, offers public transport alternatives for residents, students, workers, and visitors, facilitating daily travel for work, education, healthcare, administrative, tourism, and leisure purposes.
Among the new connections is the L635 Orihuela-Elche line, passing through the Almoradí station and linking with Dolores, Catral, Albatera, Crevillent, and the Elche AVE station. The L636 Orihuela-Almoradí line is also introduced, connecting the municipality with Orihuela, Redován, Callosa de Segura, Rafal, and the Hospital Vega Baja.
The L637 Almoradí-Torrevieja line will depart from the Almoradí station with stops in Daya Nueva, Daya Vieja, San Fulgencio, Rojales, Benijófar, Ciudad Quesada, Torrevieja, and the Hospital of Torrevieja. Additionally, the L638 Catral-Torrevieja line will pass through the Almoradí station, connecting with Catral, Albatera, Callosa, Rafal, Formentera, Rojales, Benijófar, Ciudad Quesada, and Torrevieja.
The new offering is completed by the L639 San Miguel de Salinas-Alicante line, which will connect San Miguel de Salinas, Los Montesinos, Benijófar, Almoradí, Dolores, Catral, and Alicante.
The Almoradí City Council views the launch of these services positively, believing they contribute to better territorial integration and offer more public transport options to citizens. The service reinforcement improves connections to hospitals, train stations, university areas, tourist towns, and key urban centers, promoting more sustainable and accessible mobility in the region.
