The Tax Agency in Orihuela is opening new facilities on Monday at Avenida Alcalde Vicente Escudero, 2, next to the Ociopía shopping center, to improve taxpayer services.

The Tax Agency administration in Orihuela is relocating to a new site at Avenida Alcalde Vicente Escudero, number 2, adjacent to the Ociopía shopping center. The new building will open to the public next Monday.
From that date, all agency activities, including in-person assistance for preparing the 2025 income tax returns, will be conducted at the new premises. The current offices on Obispo Rocamora street will be closed.
The building spans 1,045 square meters across two floors. The ground floor will house general public service areas, while the first floor will be dedicated to personalized processing.
The property, fully adapted for accessibility for people with reduced mobility, has an initial capacity for 65 staff members and includes a dedicated area for the annual tax return campaign.
According to the Government Sub-delegation, this relocation aims to "improve taxpayer service and facilitate access" for residents of Orihuela and surrounding towns like Torrevieja. Currently, individuals, self-employed workers, and businesses from these areas must travel over 35 kilometers to Orihuela for in-person tax procedures with Hacienda.
