“"Paths are ultimately links that connect activities and people. If they are destroyed or in poor condition, they end up aggravating isolation and thereby encouraging depopulation. And precisely what both funds have allowed is to strengthen the muscle of our population, enhance the value of the trails, and ultimately, facilitate life in our municipality."

The Generalitat and the Provincial Council have allocated over 407,000 euros to improve paths and trails in La Pobla de Benifassà and El Ballestar, in the heart of the Tinença de Benifassà Natural Park.
This significant economic outlay aims to strengthen connections in this unique natural environment, characterized by its rugged landscape. The investment is crucial for maintaining the vitality of the populations and preventing isolation.
The total investment is divided between the two localities. For La Pobla de Benifassà, 207,239.37 euros have been allocated by the Consell and the Provincial Council, to which an additional 11,928 euros from the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP) have been added. In the case of El Ballestar, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Provincial Government have injected 200,000 euros, complemented by an additional 11,000 euros from the FVMP.
These actions are considered an "excellent initiative" by local authorities, as they allow these rural areas to avoid being left behind and to continue developing, improving the quality of life for their inhabitants and promoting tourism in the Natural Park.
