The Vinaròs City Council has begun cleaning and brush removal of vegetation from the ditches of several rural roads within the municipal area, aiming to improve the safety and maintenance of these routes.

The operations are focused on roads such as La Parreta, Mas de Brau, Cometes, and Carretes, as well as several routes around the hermitage, including Xivert, Melilles, and Graveres. These areas are frequently used by residents, especially during this time of year.
These efforts complement the recent tasks carried out by the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters. The accelerated growth of vegetation is attributed to the continuous rainfall this year and high temperatures.

"It is important to carry out these tasks to improve the visibility of rural roads and access to properties."

Agustín Molinero · Councillor for Agriculture
The Councillor for Agriculture, Agustín Molinero, highlighted the importance of this work for improving visibility and access to properties. He also noted that clearing the roads helps act as firebreaks in case of fires and facilitates the application of mosquito treatments by the Diputación de Castellón.
