The Municipal Library of Vinaròs has inaugurated an exhibition dedicated to the historian and writer Francesc Almela i Vives, organized by the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua (AVL) as part of the Any Almela i Vives.

The exhibition, comprising twelve informative panels, offers a comprehensive retrospective on the life and literary career of Francesc Almela i Vives, who was born in Vinaròs on November 9, 1901, and passed away in València on September 24, 1967.
The exhibition's opening took place last Thursday with a conference titled Francesc Almela i Vives, humanista de l’edat de plata. Academics Àngel Calpe and Josep Palomero participated in this talk, delving into the author's significant contributions.
In addition to the exhibition, a biographical comic about Almela i Vives, also published by the AVL, was presented. This publication aims to introduce the life and work of the Vinaròs-born writer to students in schools and institutes, fostering an understanding of his important cultural legacy.
