Vinaròs is preparing for the first edition of GastroLlagostí, a festival taking place on June 6th and 7th at the Fora del Forat promenade, aiming to showcase local langoustine and proximity products.

The town of Vinaròs will host the first edition of GastroLlagostí on June 6th and 7th, a new gastronomic festival to be held at the Fora del Forat promenade. The event will be open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on both days.
The event will bring together some of the main local restaurateurs and proximity producers. The primary goal is to highlight the Vinaròs langoustine, local gastronomy, and nearby products. The recreational area of Fora del Forat, next to the children's park, will be the venue for this first edition, featuring eight restaurateur stalls and ten producers associated with Castelló Ruta de Sabor.
Participating restaurants in the gastronomic area include Nadiu, Rubén Miralles, Bergantín, Nou Parada, Nou Gastrobar, Rafel lo Cristalero, La Carabassa, and Gastro Lai. They will offer various culinary creations with the Vinaròs langoustine as the star. Tapas will be priced between 4 and 12 euros, coinciding with the Langoustine Cuisine Days.
In addition to restaurateurs, proximity producers will be present, such as Mas de Rander (wines), Granja Boverals (eggs), Llum Orgànic (oil), Turrones Agut Benlloch, Carnisseria Elena, Productos Geysel (appetizers), Turrones Blasco, L’Estanquer (wines), Sabores Naturales Licora, and Pobill Ecològics (oils and agricultural products).
The Councilor for Tourism, Mercedes García, emphasized the challenge of organizing this event, noting it's the first time such an event will take place over two days. She expressed deep gratitude for the collaboration of the restaurateurs and the Vinaròs Gastronòmic association.
The official inauguration will be on June 6th at 11:00 AM, with the presence of the regional secretary of Tourism, José Manuel Camarero. The festival will also feature live music, DJ sets, and gastronomic activities, including show cookings by chefs Miguel Barrera and Raúl Resino. The Benicarló Hospitality School will also collaborate, with its students actively participating, considered the future of regional gastronomy.
The president of the Vinaròs Gastronòmic Association, Dolors Castell, expressed satisfaction with the launch of this initiative, particularly with the festival's name, 'GastroLlagostí', which identifies a unique product of the local cuisine. She assured that the restaurateurs will dedicate their full effort to ensure the event's success.
