Man Arrested in Benicarló for Drug and Money Offenses

The Civil Guard seized cocaine, MDMA, popper, and 235 euros during a traffic stop in the town.

The Civil Guard has arrested a 29-year-old man in Benicarló for an alleged offense against public health, after seizing various narcotic substances and cash from him.

The operation occurred on May 17th, when officers observed the driver of a vehicle failing to obey traffic signals. Upon intercepting him, they found 0.55 grams of cocaine, 3.75 grams of other derivatives of the same drug, popper, and a bag with several MDMA pills inside the car.
Additionally, 235 euros in various denominations were seized, along with bags, wires, and a precision scale, items that, according to the investigation, were related to the preparation of the substances.
In parallel, the Local Police of Benicarló has initiated proceedings for driving under the influence of alcohol and has proceeded to immobilize the vehicle. The proceedings have been transferred to the duty Court of Instruction in Vinaròs.
