The Vinaròs Health Department has expanded and renovated its Endoscopy equipment with an investment of 90,750 euros. This action will improve the accuracy of diagnostic explorations and facilitate certain medical procedures.

Two new colonoscopes and two gastroscopes have been incorporated, notable for their high definition, virtual chromoendoscopy, and improved image quality. Furthermore, the new equipment offers greater ergonomics, designed for healthcare professionals.

Thanks to the new thin colonoscope, specific procedures will be facilitated, especially for patients with stenosis. The Endoscopy team plays an essential role in diagnosing and treating digestive pathologies, as well as in the colon cancer screening program, which is crucial for early detection and prevention.
