The XIII Ontinyent Stores, Tapes and Rock Fair, taking place from May 8 to 10, will enhance its family-friendly aspect with a specific program for children in the 'Ontinyent Comercial' area.

This space will offer a total of eight activities spread throughout the weekend, integrating into the global commitment to promote the fair as an event designed for all audiences, with special attention to families. The councilor for Economic Promotion highlighted that the aim was to strengthen the presence of children's activities to make the fair an inclusive space, where families can spend the whole day with offerings for all ages.

"We wanted to reinforce the presence of activities for children so that the fair is a truly inclusive space, where families can spend the whole day with an offer for all ages. This family area completes the new approach of the fair, more comfortable, more friendly and with continuous proposals throughout the day."

The program includes a varied offer of recreational and educational activities that will combine music, games, and creativity. On Friday, May 8, it will start with a musical scavenger hunt and a balloon twisting and face painting session. On Saturday, May 9, there will be workshops and a mini disco in the morning, and art proposals and children's dynamics in the afternoon, complemented by musical activities. Finally, on Sunday, May 10, the Saturday's structure will be repeated, with workshops, mini disco, face painting, scavenger hunt, and a musical closing party.
As a novelty, the fair will also feature a commercial information, advice, and revitalization point with regional scope, located in the same 'Ontinyent Comercial' area. This service, staffed by the technical team of Comerç IN, will be aimed at active merchants and entrepreneurs interested in starting or consolidating a project in the sector. Among its objectives is to boost the revitalization of retail trade, facilitating access to information, resources, and specialized advice, as well as bringing services closer to smaller municipalities and fostering entrepreneurship.
The fair, organized by Ontinyent Comercial and the Ontinyent City Council, with the support of the Diputación de Valencia and the Generalitat Valenciana, will bring together more than thirty establishments and brands, with a diverse offer that includes fashion, accessories, home equipment, services, optics, children's and specialized products, as well as other proposals linked to local commerce.
