The GR Real de Gandia Athletics School has marked the end of its academic year with a closing ceremony that included the presentation of gifts to young participants and a snack for attending families. The town's mayor, Gustavo Mascarell, joined the club for the event, encouraging them to "continue the great work they are doing to promote physical activity and sports practice."
The club views the Athletics School as "the future of GR Real de Gandia as a club and also for our town." They reaffirm their commitment to promoting sports for children and young people. Collaborative activities with Beato Carmelo Primary School and the El Real de Gandia Town Council are already being planned for the upcoming academic year and will be announced soon.
“"Today we have concluded another year of this small but great school that will surely continue to grow in the future."
Club sources expressed gratitude for the support received, highlighting the coach, Alberto Pérez, and the crucial role of families in the project. "They are also a fundamental part of the Athletics School and, in a way, of the GR Real de Gandia Running Club," they added.
We hope that in the future it will continue to grow.
The coach, in turn, thanked the El Real de Gandia Town Council and its mayor, Gustavo Mascarell, for their willingness to help and for providing access to the municipal sports facilities, which are gradually being enhanced for various sports activities.
“"Continue working as you have been, with enthusiasm, passion, and motivation to make this Athletics School a regional benchmark."
The mayor encouraged the club and school to maintain their effort and motivation to establish the Athletics School as a regional leader.
