The La Vital shopping center, owned by MERLIN Properties in Gandia, will host a blood donation campaign from June 11-13 to maintain stable blood reserves.

The campaign, organized in collaboration with the Valencian Community Transfusion Center, highlights the importance of having sufficient reserves to meet intervention, emergency, and medical treatment needs. According to the center, a single donation can benefit up to three people.
Donations will take place in two mobile units set up next to the shopping center, on Ramón y Cajal street. The hours will be from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM on June 11 and 12, and from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM on June 13. Participation is open to anyone who meets the usual donation requirements, with no prior appointment needed.
The Valencian Community Transfusion Center reminds the public that donation is a safe and quick procedure, crucial for ensuring the availability of blood components in the healthcare system.
As a token of appreciation, donors will receive gifts and discounts on cinema tickets. Additionally, participants can enter a raffle for 100 euros in shopping vouchers at the center by providing their details at the customer service point.
This campaign has become a regular event in Gandia and the La Safor region, reflecting the community's sensitivity towards solidarity initiatives related to health. The center is making its facilities available for an action of general interest.
