Daimús athlete Adriana Solanes Valero has achieved another victory at the U16 Spanish Championship held in La Nucía, revalidating her title in the 3,000m race.

The CA Safor Teika runner once again demonstrated her dominance in the category, winning a competition that featured 17 athletes. The race was fast from the start, with an initial pack that gradually thinned to a select group of 5-6 runners with one kilometer to go.
With a change of pace at the 1,000-meter mark, the competition intensified. At 800 meters from the finish, a rival from Galicia attempted to set the pace, but Solanes Valero managed to keep up. In the final 100 meters, the athlete from Daimús responded with a final push to secure the win.
Adriana Solanes Valero is one of the four athletes who have managed to revalidate the title won last year in Gijón. Additionally, she was the national indoor champion last March.
Her athletic career is not limited to the track. Solanes Valero also holds national medals in cross country, aquathlon, and duathlon, both individually and with club teams, representing CA Safor Teika and the Valencian Community.
The U16 Spanish Championship, held in La Nucía, was a sporting success, with national records and championship records being set, solidifying it as a major event for Spanish athletics.
