Renfe has initiated modernization and accessibility improvement works at Cullera station, with an investment of 193,384 euros, to provide a more modern and comfortable environment for travelers.

The entity reported that the project, part of the A Punto plan, focuses on improving access, renovating the hall, updating restrooms, and modernizing platform lighting. Ramps, railings, and handrails will be remodeled, and tactile warning paving will be installed. The station's roof and flooring will also be replaced.
Cullera station is part of the C1 Cercanías line in the València Hub, serving 82 trains and 3,900 passengers daily.
Nationally, the A Punto plan allocates a total of 24.8 million euros for 110 stations between 2026 and 2027. In València, 3.2 million euros will be invested in rapid works across 15 stations in the Cercanías hub, with individual project costs ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 euros.
The plan identifies and schedules interventions to significantly enhance service quality and station accessibility. The selection of these actions considers passenger impact, urgency, technical complexity, work duration, and the potential for standardized execution.
Planned improvements include the station's exterior image, lobbies, platform canopies, parking areas, bicycle parking, and tactile pathways.
Renfe has created a specific logo to identify these improvement projects at its facilities.
