Up to 50 violin prodigies from 23 countries will compete to advance to the semifinals of this prestigious competition, which will turn Cullera into the stage for "a true world championship of violin promises". Contestants hail from Europe, Asia, America, and Oceania, including Spain, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Belarus, Russia, France, Ukraine, Poland, Armenia, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Turkey, Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, the United States, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Australia.
"CullerArts has established itself as an essential event for the curriculum of any young violinist and is an open door to the professional future of new generations of violinists. For many of these young talents, participating in CullerArts is an opportunity to take the stage with musicians from around the world, test themselves, and continue developing their international projection," highlights the mayor of Cullera, Jordi Mayor.

The competition jury will evaluate online performances submitted by participants to select the eight semifinalists who will compete from September 7th to 12th at the Cullera Municipal Auditorium. The tribunal will award technique, precision, clarity, and control in interpretation; musicality, expression, and interpretive depth; adaptation to the repertoire; as well as originality and virtuosity.
In this eighth edition, the Cullera City Council has increased the first prize to 6,000 euros. The remaining prizes remain the same as last year: 4,000 euros for the second prize, 3,000 for the third, and a special audience award with a financial endowment of 1,500 euros. Five study grants of 600 euros will also be awarded to each semifinalist who does not reach the grand final.
