Fire at former meat processing plant in Castelló leaves one injured by smoke inhalation

A fire reported at the former Cárnicas Serratins company, located in the Cuadra Borriolench area of Castelló, has left one person injured due to smoke inhalation.

The fire started at 11:18 AM this Friday on the second floor of the building, situated near the Borriol road. The affected individual was transferred to the Hospital General de Castelló after inhaling smoke during the incident.
As of now, no further details have been released regarding their condition or the extent of material damage to the building. The causes of the fire are still unknown and await clarification.
Municipal Firefighters and Local Police intervened in the operation, acting in the area to control the situation and manage the emergency. The fire has since been extinguished.
