El Grau de Castelló officially opened the Sant Pere festivities this Saturday, June 27th, with a day marked by a festive street atmosphere, music, fireworks, and the participation of numerous groups, residents, and visitors. The start of the celebrations included the gathering of the Queens and Presidents, as well as the reception of authorities at the Deputy Mayor's office.
The inaugural mascletà was one of the most anticipated moments, making the areas around Trabajadores de la Mar street and Panderola Park vibrate. The morning program continued with musical performances, the traditional vermouth hour, and the first bullfighting events held at the Grau venue.
This day marks the beginning of nine days of celebrations in honor of the seafaring saint. The festivities have taken over the streets of the maritime district with tradition, noise, and color, summarizing the start of a program that includes nearly 175 events and will continue until July 5th.
