The Facsa-Playas de Castellón club has secured a double podium at the European Club Champions Cup, held at Gaetà Huguet, winning silver in the men's category and bronze in the women's.

The men's team was crowned European runner-up after an intense battle with Turkey's Enka Sports Club and Portugal's Sporting Clube de Portugal. The women's team, meanwhile, achieved a bronze medal in their debut in the top continental club competition.
The men's competition was decided in the final events. The Castellón club, despite several international absences, secured its position thanks to victories by Diego Casas, Juan Luis Bravo, Rafa Mahíques, Daniel Cisneros, and José Ignacio Pérez, along with second places from Pablo Torrijos and Rodrigue Kiwizera. The 4x100 relay team (Campos, Blanco, Pozo, and Arenas) finished third, and Alejandro Ortuño was fourth. These results earned Facsa-Playas 189.5 points, securing the silver medal behind Sporting Clube de Portugal and ahead of Turkey's Enka.
In the women's category, Facsa-Playas de Castellón exceeded all initial expectations in their debut, achieving the bronze medal. The victory of Lerato Pagés, along with third-place finishes from Toimil, Sales, Alegre, Corral, and the 4x400 relay team (March, Avilés, Rodríguez, and Enaruna), allowed the club to climb to a final total of 193 points. The local athletes ultimately surpassed Enka Sports Club, who finished fourth, in a very close finish.
In the women's final standings, the continental title went to Diputación Valencia Club Atletismo, with Sporting Clube de Portugal taking second place. The competition, held at Gaetà Huguet, brought together clubs from 12 countries, reaffirming Castelló's status as a European benchmark for club athletics.
The club highlighted both the sporting performance and the support from fans and event organizers, considering it a historic weekend for Castellón athletics.
