The event brought together dozens of teams from Valencian educational centers, who demonstrated their knowledge in programming, robotics, engineering, and problem-solving through challenges adapted to different categories. The event was organized by the Universitat Jaume I, in collaboration with the Maker's Club Association and the support of the Castellón City Council and the technology company Nayar Systems.
Six teams emerged victorious in the various categories: Torrenova 1 in Robo Basic, Gamer's in Start, Biaker in Elementary, Los Informáticos in Rookie, Infiniti Maker's in Júnior, and ScubaBots in Senior. These qualified teams will continue their preparation for the National Final, where they will compete against the best representatives from the rest of the country.
The organization highlighted the increase in participating schools, attributed to the growing incorporation of robotics and technological disciplines in educational projects. The competition also served as a meeting point for students, teachers, and families, fostering the exchange of experiences.
The World Robot Olympiad aims to promote scientific and technological vocations among young people, fostering skills such as teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving, which are key in scientific and technological fields.
