The Alzira City Council has revived the Santa Rita festival, organizing a team-building day and activities for municipal staff, following their explicit request.

The Department of Personnel and Internal Affairs of the Alzira City Council has promoted the revival of the traditional Santa Rita festival. After surveying municipal staff via a questionnaire, the response favored the return of this celebration, which will include a full day of activities, team-building, and a positive atmosphere.
The councilor for the area, Xavier Fernández, highlighted the enthusiasm for recovering "a celebration much loved by municipal staff." He emphasized that the day is an opportunity to reconnect outside the usual work environment and "strengthen bonds between colleagues." The event is conceived as a space to recognize staff and foster internal networking, improving cohesion between departments.
The day will begin with various activities, including visits to the Municipal Archive and museums, as well as activities at the Green Ring and board game championships. A breakfast and other participatory activities with surprises are also included.
Xavier Fernández thanked the "commitment and predisposition of all municipal staff," stating that "without this participation, it would not be possible to revive such a significant celebration." He added, "What is given is not taken away, and Santa Rita is back to stay."
The normal provision of municipal services is guaranteed during the day, ensuring the city continues to function normally through established minimum services.
