Porcelanosa's central facilities in Vila-real hosted the tenth edition of the Real Estate Developers Meeting, an event that brought together approximately 150 professionals from leading real estate firms in Spain and Portugal. The gathering solidified its position as a key forum for reflection on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the residential sector.
During the event, attendees participated in technical visits to the showrooms and production plants of the companies within the Porcelanosa Grupo. They had the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the latest innovations in materials, design, and construction solutions. A notable visit was to the Porcelanosa Offsite plant, specializing in industrialized construction, where examples of optimized industrialized bathrooms were showcased, and their benefits in efficiency, quality, and sustainability were explored.
One of the highlights of the meeting was a roundtable discussion focused on design, sustainability, and industrialization, three fundamental pillars of transformation in construction. Moderated by journalist Gemma Font, the session featured contributions from Samuel Tortosa (head of the technical facade department at PORCELANOSA), César Frías (CEO of Morph and president of the Council of Vertical Urbanism Iberia), Jorge Leal (director and construction coordinator at Grupo Ferreira), and Enrique Blanco (director of the projects department at BROSH).
The speakers analyzed how industrialization optimizes construction processes, enhances efficiency, and reduces the environmental impact. They also discussed the crucial role of design in creating more sustainable and functional spaces, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among developers, architects, industry, and builders for a more innovative construction model.
Prior to this session, a discussion took place between representatives from Siemens studioLine and Porcelanosa regarding the evolution of kitchens within the residential sector. The afternoon of Thursday included a conference by Víctor Küppers, who shared insights on attitude, enthusiasm, and purpose in life and work.
With this tenth edition, Porcelanosa reaffirms its commitment to innovation and the development of solutions for the real estate sector. The event was sponsored by Siemens studioLine, Schneider Electric, EMCO, +GF+, Saint-Gobain, and Daikin.
