This initiative, with an initial allocation of 50,000 euros, seeks to boost access to the labor market for groups facing greater difficulties in integration. Subsidies will apply to contracts formalized between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026, strengthening the local economic and business fabric.
“"We continue to bet on useful policies that directly reach people and help transform opportunities into real employment. We want Onda's companies to find support to continue growing and for no resident of Onda to be left behind when accessing the labor market."
The grants range from 800 to 4,500 euros, depending on the hired profile and contractual modality. The highest amounts are intended to promote indefinite contracts for people over 50 years old and people with functional diversity. Temporary contracts of at least six months and part-time jobs of 20 hours per week or more will also be subsidized.
Additionally, the program includes an extra bonus of 500 euros for long-term unemployed individuals who do not receive benefits. The grants are aimed at favoring the hiring of people over 50 years old, people with functional diversity, young people seeking their first job, and people in situations or at risk of social exclusion. Each company can apply for subsidies for a maximum of five hires.
The call will allow companies and self-employed individuals to request an advance of 50% of the granted aid, which will be paid after approval by the Local Government Board. This facilitates liquidity from the beginning of the process. The final payment, with the remaining 50% or the full amount, will be made once the documents corresponding to the approved hiring period have been justified.
Among the administrative improvements, the City Council extends the maximum period to resolve and notify subsidies from three to six months, with a resolution deadline until February 28, 2027. Applications can be submitted from the day after the official publication in the Official Gazette of the Province until September 30, 2026, through the municipal electronic headquarters.
