This initiative will allow beneficiary entities to cover up to 90% of the expenses derived from the maintenance of these neighborhood meeting spaces. As published in the Official Gazette of the Province, associations registered in the Municipal Register of Associations that carry out traditional festive activities and do not have a premises ceded by the council can now apply for these grants.
The Councilor for Neighborhoods of Onda has highlighted the importance of this line of aid to strengthen the activity that neighborhood groups carry out throughout the year. In addition, the local administration offers direct advice to associations to facilitate the submission of applications and resolve any doubts during the process.
“"Neighborhoods are part of Onda's identity and play a fundamental role in the social and festive life of the municipality. With this aid, we want to continue supporting them and making it easier for them to carry out their activity in the best conditions."
The grants, which will be awarded on a competitive basis, are intended for expenses such as the leasing of premises. This measure is part of the municipal commitment to strengthen the direct relationship with the neighborhoods, through initiatives such as the periodic 'Barri a Barri' meetings and coordination with the Festivities and Traditions area.
